Another great round of Pre-Hospital medical training held at the “Sky Gardens” London.

Candidates were exposed to live and immersive environments that created some great learning opportunities. Applying tourniquets with entrapped casualties & listening to AED prompts became a little more challenging!

This experience was capitalised on and provided real focus and a demonstration of professional aptitude as the cohort progressed through Turret Trainings FAST Aid trauma course.

This reviewed EDI compliant syllabus by the RCSEd-FPHC tested the candidates throughout the intense 4 day course with Day 4 assessing the students with some challenging OSCEs & Vivas.

The practical examinations, predicated towards poly-traumatically injured casualties were overseen by an external Faculty of Doctors / Specialist Instructors and Paramedics who provided some outstanding feedback to the candidates.

Well done to Bidvest Noonan on their selection criteria hashtag#makingadifference

Each candidate will now be awarded a prestigious certificate from The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh - Faculty of Pre-Hospital Care mapped at PHEM matrix LvL D.

This certificate provides options for Security Medics to join the RCSEd-Faculty of Pre-Hospital Care including a Foundation manual in Immediate Care included with the membership.

This opportunity will help develop Continued Occupational Competency in the role of Non Health Care Professional, directly supported by the RCSEd-FPHC and Non Health Care Professionals board.
